Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges (APC) — AIDSAE

AIDSAE (Applied AI & Data Science for Health, Agriculture & Environment) is an open access journal published by EcoScribe Publishers Company Limited. To support editorial operations, online hosting, and article production, AIDSAE applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for manuscripts that are accepted for publication.

APC Amount

  • USD 50 per accepted article

When the APC is Paid

  • No submission fee: submitting to AIDSAE is free.
  • The APC is charged only after the manuscript has been formally accepted.
  • Payment is required before the final version is scheduled for publication.

What the APC Supports

The APC helps cover costs related to:

  • editorial administration and peer review coordination
  • copyediting and production preparation
  • journal website/platform maintenance and hosting
  • metadata preparation and archiving workflows
  • communication and author support during publication

How to Pay

AIDSAE accepts payment through the following methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • Mobile money
  • PayPal

For security and accuracy, payment details are provided only after acceptance. Once your manuscript is accepted, the editorial office will send an official email requesting payment and providing:

  • an invoice (or payment request),
  • the applicable amount (USD 50),
  • the authorised payment account details for your chosen method, and
  • instructions on how to submit proof of payment.

Important Notice (Avoid Fraud)

Please do not send money to individuals claiming they can help you publish in AIDSAE. Payments should be made only using the official payment details sent in the acceptance/payment request email from the journal.

Proof of Payment

After payment, authors must email proof of payment (receipt/transaction confirmation) to the editorial office so that the manuscript can be scheduled for final production and publication.

Waivers and Discounts (Limited)

AIDSAE may grant partial or full APC waivers in limited circumstances (e.g., student-led unfunded work, invited manuscripts, or high public-interest research).

  • Waiver requests should be made at submission (or before acceptance).
  • Waivers are granted at the discretion of the editorial office.

Withdrawals and Refunds

  • Authors may withdraw a manuscript at any time before acceptance without charge.
  • If a manuscript is withdrawn after acceptance, and production processes have started (e.g., copyediting, layout, DOI/metadata preparation), refunds are normally not provided.
